上世紀六十年代，我出生在一個收藏世家，在我很小的時候就受祖父“藏而不露”，“秘不示人”的家規熏陶著。那個年代，也正因為祖父這樣的意識，使家中藏品在無數次遷徙中得以完整保存。

　　祖父在八十年代駕鶴西去，父親繼承了祖父的衣缽，我在父親的收藏圈子裡沏茶倒水，耳濡目染了老一輩收藏家的各種心得。當時中年的叔叔伯伯，一轉眼都已成暮年老者。

　　藏而不露與傳承有序是東西方收藏家文化迥異的結果，藏而不露讓藏品變為無人知曉或者是從天而降的“生貨”，而傳承有序則為藏品做了檔案。隨著信息時代的到來，我們應該與全世界分享，了解人類發展的歷程。

　　古代藝術品是人類共同的文化遺產，在漫漫的歷史長河中，每個收藏家只是古代藝術品的臨時守護者，為暮年的老一輩收藏家的古藝術品尋找下一代守護者，是弘古美術的責任。
